As our next
GA State Senator,
Andre Jerry will work to:
- Promote smart growth to preserve the character and
integrity of our neighborhoods.
- Improve our public schools, protect HOPE Scholarships
and expand Charter Schools. Work to bring more attention to
technical and trade schools as an opportunity for our children
to achieve an education and needed skills for our industries
today.
- Continue fighting to keep our air and water clean -
and our city and state parks pristine.
- Lower prescription drug costs by using the state’s
purchasing power. And work to provide access to affordable
prenatal healthcare.
- Create jobs and grow the economy by expanding public
incentives for small businesses to open, creating an increase
in job opportunities. Vote against tax increases and
advocate better choices in state government spending.
- Support transportation alternatives that eases traffic
congestion. Work to secure more funding for MARTA, bike
trails and sidewalks.
- Support equal rights for all regardless of race,
religion, gender, age or sexual orientation. Every citizen
deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
- Create a GA District 36 Citizen’s Advisory Board to
research issues and to rebuff the grip of lobbyists. This will
provide opportunities for your voices to be heard.
